1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6 3.0

One of the very few original unmollested iconic 3.0 GTV’s still around. With number 72 on the fly wheel , this car is in beautiful condition inside and out. Mechanically sound and drives like a new car. Car had two owners since new , well kept and maticulously maintained over the past 40 years. A must see , as this is surely one of the most original and cleanest examples still around👌 Built for racing Homologation to compete with BMW’s 535i and Ford’s XR8 in 1983 ,only 212 of these were ever produced and there is only a hand full of these still around and they are quickly becoming very collectable motor cars with similar examples in worse condition fetching R1 250 000 at recent auctions . With deep racing heritage and winning it’s debut race at The Kyalami 2hr endurance race it had collectability written all over it from the day it first laid rubber on the track. Its 2934cc V6 engine making 137kw was also the most powerful Alfa Romeo production engine for its time.
